A tour moves you past a place. A class sets you apart from the work. An apprenticeship puts you inside it — at the bench, in the field, at the fire, next to the person who has spent a life there.
You keep their hours. You do the work with your hands, in real conditions, at their pace. One to two apprentices at a time, never a group. You come home with their point of view, not a souvenir.
